Network disturbance at FRA1 region.
2019-08-30 18:00 – After a few hours of monitoring the situation, we clear this status as all affected services are up and running for the past 3 hours.
The reason for this incident was a switch stack member that crashed but did not fall out of the stack. Due to not being marked as down, intended fail-over functions did not work as expected and causing a “split brain” problem. Onsite technicians had to be called in and hence delaying the time to resolution. Complete root-cause investigation has started to find out why this happened along with validating out-of-band access.
We are sorry for the inconvenience of this incident and any problems caused.
