Planned Maintenance region STO2 (Stockholm) from 2019-12-18 22:00 to 2019-12-19 07:00 CET

UPDATE 22:00 Maintenance window has started.

Dear Valued Customer,

City Network would like to inform you that we have planned maintenance as scheduled below.

Customer Intervention MAY BE required.

Region/datacenter: Openstack region STO2 (Stockholm, Sweden)
Maintenance window starts: 2019-12-18 22.00 CET
Maintenance window ends: 2019-12-19 07.00 CET

Maintenance scope:
Rolling restarts of compute nodes to force hard-reboot of all running virtual instances (virtual servers), in intervals of 15 minutes.
Only one compute node will rebooted at a time, allowing running instances to come back online prior to the next compute node being restarted.
The primary reason for this maintenance window is to improve our ability to operate the Openstack cloud in region STO2 along with introducing a new storage backend for Volumes (Cinder)

Expected customer impact:
Running virtual instances will be restarted in a controlled and timely manner.
Customers using redundant setup and using anti-affinity should not experience disruption.
Customers are expected to ensure virtual instances (virtual servers) along with any services hosted on those, will properly start up after a reboot of an virtual instance (virtual server).
The restart of the virtual instance (virtual server) will be attempted in a graceful manner with a 2 minutes grace period. After the grace period, a forceful restart will be issued.
